Sims Avenue
Sims Avenue (Chinese: 沈氏道) is a one-way major road in Singapore connecting Kallang Road to Jalan Eunos. It has bus lane in the whole stretch, with one of them between Kallang Road and Sims Way being a full-day bus lane. It extends eastward as Sims Avenue East (Chinese: 沈氏东道), and until Siglap Road. The stretch of road after Siglap Road is named New Upper Changi Road. The road is named after a local businessman Sim Kia Jan (Chinese: 沈嘉然; pinyin: Shěn Jiā Rán), who owned a stretch of land in the nearby area.[1]
