Sembawang Road

Sembawang Road [1] (Chinese: 三巴旺路) is a major road in Sembawang, Singapore; started as a track in the 1920s and was officially named in 1938, going from Sembawang to Thomson Road. Buses operated by various private companies were the main mode of transport then. Present day Sembawang Road is a major arterial road linking the Northern and Central portion of Singapore.
