Si-woo, also spelled Shi-woo, is a Korean masculine given name. It was the fourth-most popular name for newborn boys in South Korea in 2011.[1] The meaning differs based on the hanja used to write each syllable of the name. There are 39 hanja with the reading "shi" and 41 hanja with the reading "woo" on the South Korean government's official list of hanja which may be used in given names.[2]
