TRCNG (Hangul: 티알씨엔지; an acronym for Teen Rising Champion in a New Generation[1]) is a South Korean boy group formed by TS Entertainment in 2017.[2] They debuted with the EP New Generation on October 10, 2017.[3]

History

Pre-debut

On August 17, 2017, TS Entertainment announced that they would debut their second boy group in the latter half of 2017. This would be the company's first time launching a boy group in five years since B.A.P's debut in 2012.[4]

TRCNG in 2017

On September 18, 2017, TS Entertainment released a video showing a glimpse of the members' childhood photos along with their names. They also revealed the name of the group would be TRCNG and the debut date would be October 10, 2017. From September 19, 2017 through October 9, 2017, the agency released multiple teaser images and videos ahead of the group's debut.[5]

After Debut

They released music videos for the songs "Spectrum" and "Wolf Baby" which received more than three millions views each one on YouTube. In May of 2018, they performed both songs as part of the "2018 Dream Concert".[6]
