Pu Lalduhoma is the founder and president of Zoram Nationalist Party, a political party based in the state of Mizoram, India. He was elected Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha from Indian National Congress representing Mizoram Constituency in the 8th Lok Sabha.[1]

Early life

He is the Son of Vaisanga (L) and was born on 22 February 1949. He and his wife Sailovi have three children and reside in Chawlhhmun Veng, Aizawl, Mizoram

Education

He has completed his education in BA on distinction.

Career

From 1972 to 1977 he worked as PA to the Chief Minister. He joined the Indian Police Service in 1977

Politics

He later quit his career to Join the Indian National Congress in 1984 as Vice Chairman of Mizoram State Planning Board. He was also elected in 1984 as Member of Parliament. He later formed Mizo National Union (MNU) which was later Merged with Mizoram People's Conference and was made as working President. He later joined Mizo National Front as Advisory, later breaking away from it to form Zoram Nationalist Party. He was elected as MLA from Ratu in the 2003 Elections.
