Shout to the Lord 2000 is a live praise and worship album of Contemporary Christian music by Hillsong. The album appeared on the Billboard 200 and reached No. 8 on the Top Contemporary Christian Albums Chart.[1]

Making of the album

Shout to the Lord 2000 was recorded live at the 1998 Hillsong Conference by Darlene Zschech and the Hillsong team. Ron Kenoly and Alvin Slaughter also appear on this album. It was recorded at the State Sports Centre as well.

Trivia

The Song 'Hear Our Praises' has a Spanish version by the Mexican singer Marco Barrientos recorded in a live album, Alejandro Del Bosque and Abel Brito, in 2000.The album is called 'Es Tiempo De Adorarle' (Is Time To Worship Him) and the song 'De Los Montes' (Hear our Praises).
In 2011, Barrientos, recorded this song again, but this time as a 'Reprise Hear Our Praises', and performs just the bridge of the song, along with his song 'Hosanna', In his album 'Transformados'.
