Adam Rooney (born 22 September 1986) better known by his stage name Shotty Horroh, is a British rapper, retired battle rapper, singer and songwriter.[1]

Well known as a battle rapper, Shotty Horroh has been considered to be one of the best in the battle rap world of Hip-hop.[2] A rap battle of his, with over 10 million views on YouTube, caught the attention of other artists, including Canadian electronic music producer deadmau5. deadmau5 and Shotty Horroh have collaborated on multiple songs; including "Are You Not Afraid"[3] and "Okay",[4] and most recently "Legendary".[5]

Shotty Horroh has worked with other hip hop artists including Kool G Rap, Royce Da 5'9" and most recently with Tory Lanez on their single "Some More".

Shotty Horroh is also the only featured artist on James Arthur's 2016 album Back from the Edge. He is a supporter of Manchester City.

Career

2016:Anti-Social Media/Free Drugs EP

On February 19, 2016, Shotty Horroh announced via Twitter a new album was on the way titled "Anti-Social Media". With the reaveal of a new album, Shotty Horroh began to upload snippets of what to expect on the album through Periscope. With the tease of new music from the battle rap vet, Shotty Horroh released the "Free Drugs EP" on July 21, 2016.[6] According to HipHopDx, "Free Drugs" is a small preview of the finished album. Songs like "Yokozuna" & "Real" are reported to be on the "Anti-Social Media" project. After Two years of waiting for the long anticipated "Anti-Social Media" album, Shotty Horroh confirmed the project was scrapped for unknown reasons via a livestream on Twitchtv.

2017

Shotty Horroh will be playing a lead role in new battle rap film, titled 'VS.', which is set to release some time in the future.[7]

On 21 July 2017, Shotty Horroh announced he had been signed to the label mau5trap.[8]

On 20 November 2017, Shotty Horroh announced he had signed a four album record deal with Sony Music via social media.[9]

2018: Salt Of The Earth

On June 8, 2018, Shotty Horroh released the first single from his up & coming debut album titled "Shudehill"[10]

On July 27, 2018, Shotty Horroh released the second single to his "Salt Of The Earth" album titled "Dirty Old Town"[11]

On September 7, 2018, Shotty Horroh released a surprise single from his yet to be released album titled "Frank & Stein"[12]

On September 28, 2018, Shotty Horroh released a 4th and final single from his "Salt of the Earth" album titled "Danger"[13]

The album is set to release on October 12.[14]
