Shakti Soundar Rajan is an Indian film director who predominantly works in Tamil cinema. His films are widely known for incorporating new elements and technical expertise. After making his debut as a director with Naanayam (2010), he achieved a breakthrough with Naaigal Jaakirathai (2014). His next film, Miruthan (2016), was the first ever zombie thriller in the Tamil cinema industry and it was a Super Hit at the box office. His upcoming film, Tik Tik Tik, is the first ever Space film in the Indian cinema.[1]

He worked as assistant director to Venkat Prabhu.
