Sevagram Junction railway station

Sevagram railway station is a railway station serving Sevagram town, in Wardha district of Maharashtra State of India. It is under Nagpur railway division of Central Railway Zone of Indian Railways. It is located on two main lines viz. Howrah–Nagpur–Mumbai line and New Delhi–Chennai main line of the Indian Railways.

It is located at 279 m above sea level and has five platforms. As of 2016, at this station, 76 trains stop. Nagpur Airport, is at distance of 59 kilo meters. [1]

This station was previously called "Wardha East", with a station code WRE. For rail-fans, one amazing trivia about traveling through this station on train is the awesome sweeping curve that takes trains travelling south out of Nagpur onwards to Chennai.
