Sangli railway station

Sangli railway station is a railway station serving Sangli city in Maharashtra State of India. It is under Pune railway division of Central Railway Zone of Indian Railways.

It is located at 558 m above sea level and has three platforms. As of 2016, Single Broad Gauge railway line exist. At this station, 41 trains stops, 1 train originates and 1 train terminates. Kolhapur Airport, is at distance of 40 kilo meters.

From Sangli railway station there are direct trains to Delhi, Mumbai, Goa, Agra, Bangalore, Pune, Ahmedabad, Surat, Vadodara, Bharuch, Vapi, Salem, Itarsi, Bhopal, Jodhpur, Puduchery, Tirunelveli, Tiruchirapali, Bikaner, Gwalior, Abu, Hubli, Dharwad, Davangere, Tumkur, Mysore, Mangalore, Udupi, Madgaon, Vasco, Kozikode, Cochin, Gandhidham, Jhansi, Ajmer, Belgaum, Lonavala, Manmad, Bhusawal, Amarawati, Akola, Nagpur, Kolhapur.

For going to Pandharpur, Solapur, Latur, Hyderabad, Tirupati there are trains from Sangli to Miraj junction where people can change trains
