Sergey Hristoforovich Aganov (Russian: Сергей Христофорович Аганов, Armenian: Սերգեյ Քրիստափորի Աղանով; 4 June 1917 – 1 February 1996) was a Soviet Armenian Marshal of the engineer troops. He was awarded the USSR State Prize. He was a recipient of the Order of Kutuzov, the Order of Lenin, the Order of the Red Banner, the Order of the Patriotic War, the Order of the Red Star, the Order for Service to the Homeland in the Armed Forces of the USSR, the Medal "For Courage" (Russia), the Medal of Zhukov and the Medal for Battle Merit.[1]
