Sean Alvarez (born July 14, 1971) is an American retired mixed martial artist. He competed in the Heavyweight division. He lost his last fight at UFC 42 - Sudden Impact against Wesley Correira on April 25, 2003. Alvarez has won gold medals at the Brazilian jiu-jitsu World Championships and the Pan American Championships[1] as well three-silver medals at the ADCC Submission Wrestling World Championship.[2][3][4]
