Saru Maini (born 27 April 1988)[1] is an Indian playback singer. Saru made her debut in the playback genre with th the song titled by "Bhangara Paale" in a duet with Sonu Nigam, for the movie Anthony Kaun Hai? in 2006, the song was written and composed by Himesh Reshammiya.[2]

Early life and career

Saru hails from Bangalore.[3] In early she got popularity for her music video of her song entitled "Dil De Diya Tha" (Sutta Mix)[4] where actress Meghna Naidu was featured in the song. She has also performed musical themes for Mumbai cinema for the movie "Mumbai Mast Kallander. Saru got his first break in the playback genre, performing a song titled "Bhangara Paale" in a duet with Sonu Nigam, for the movie "Anthony Kaun Hai?". In 2006, this song was written and composed by Himesh Reshammiya.
