The Sarawak State Library (Malay: Pustaka Negeri Sarawak) is the state library of Sarawak, located in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia.

History

The library was opened in 2000.[3]

Architecture

The library includes a lake, public performance and exhibition area, playground, picnic area, pedestrians, bicycle lane etc.[4][5]

Events

The library regularly holds various events and exhibitions, such as Bookaroo Children’s Literature Festival, Knowledge 2015, Knowledge Camp, Makersmeet, Reading Seed, PANdei: Knowledge, The Key to A Better Tomorrow etc.[3]

Opening time

The library is opened from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on weekdays and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m on weekends. Closed on public holidays.
