Sarai Bareman

Sarai Bareman is a New Zealand born former footballer, who represented Samoa. She is the current Chief Women's Football Officer for FIFA.

Career

As a player, Bareman represented the Samoa women's national football team.[1] From 2011 and 2014, she was the CEO of the Samoan women's team.[1][2] In 2014, Bareman became the Operation Manager for the Oceania Football Confederation.[2] In 2016, Bareman was the only women on the FIFA Reform Committee. Bareman supported increasing the number of women in FIFA leadership roles.[1][3] Later in the year, she was appointed as FIFA's first Chief Women's Football Officer.[2][1][3]
