Samsung Galaxy J2 Prime is an Android smartphone produced by Samsung Electronics. It was unveiled and released in November 2016.[1] It has an advanced 64-bit class system on a chip (SoC) backed by 1.5 GB RAM.

The Galaxy J2 Prime has a 8 megapixels rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, auto-focus and a 5 megapixels with f/2.2 aperture, also equipped with LED flash.[1]

Other names are Samsung Galaxy J2 Ace and Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime Plus.

The phone is powered by MediaTek's MT6737T, a 1.4 GHz Quad Core processor, Mali-T720MP2 GPU and 1.5 GB RAM with 8 GB of internal storage and a 2600 mAh battery. The Samsung Galaxy J2 Prime is fitted with a 5-inch PLS TFT screen.[1]

Software

This phone comes with Android 6.0.1. It supports 4G LTE with dual SIM enabled 4G. It also supports Samsung Knox. The phone became popular in 2017.
