Samrai is a census town in Jalandhar district of Punjab State, India. It is located 3.1 km from Jandiala Manjki, 15.5 km from Phagwara, 19.7 km from district headquarter Jalandhar and 143 km from state capital Chandigarh. The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is an elected representative of village as per Panchayati raj (India).[2]
