Samad Dawood is a third generation Pakistani entrepreneur.[3] He has been associated with management and governance of family businesses for more than thirteen years, gaining operational expertise at Dawood Lawrencepur and Dawood Hercules Chemicals, major undertakings of The Dawood Group.

Samad was previously CEO of Dawood Hercules Corporation Limited[4] and is Chairman of Engro Foods Limited. His board engagements include directorships at Engro Corporation[5] and Engro Fertilizers.[6] He has in the past served as a director at the Hub Power Company.[7]

He was previously Italian honorary consul general in Lahore[8] and is a trustee of The Dawood Foundation.[9][10][11]
