Saint Onge (pronounced "saynt AHNJ'"[1]) is an unincorporated community in Lawrence County, South Dakota, United States. Although not tracked by the Census Bureau, Saint Onge has been assigned the ZIP code of 57779.[2]

History

Saint Onge was laid out in 1881.[3] The community was named for Henry St. Onge, a pioneer settler.[4] A post office called Saint Onge has been in operation since 1881.[5]

Home to pioneer Roger Buffington Baldwin, who help develop the large 2 story buildings in the heart of town.
