The Continental was a bulk carrier that sank in Lake Michigan off the coast of Two Rivers, Wisconsin, United States. In 2009 the shipwreck site was added to the National Register of Historic Places.[1]

History

The Continental was built in Cleveland, Ohio in 1882. It foundered in a snow storm in 1904 while traveling to Manitowoc, Wisconsin for winter service and repairs. The shipwreck site is located near Rawley Point Light.[2]
