SME4Labour group

SME4Labour is a friends group of the UK Labour Party, which promotes stronger ties between the party and small and medium enterprises.[1] It was founded by Ibrahim Dogus[2][3][4] in 2016. Dogus justified his decision to set up SME4Labour by stating that "If Labour is to make inroads in the coming years, we must reinforce Labour’s position as the obvious party for those of us who are self-employed, own and run small and medium-sized businesses."[5] while stating that Labour had not provided adequate representation towards small businesses in the past.[2]
