Rumbia LRT station (SE2) is an LRT station on the Sengkang LRT Line East Loop in Rivervale, Singapore. This station is located near Rivervale Mall, some HDB flats and Rivervale Crest.

Etymology

Sagu Rumbia and Buah Rumbia were quite common in this area. The former was found in swampy areas, while the latter grew on undulating land.

History

Exit B of Rumbia

The station opened on 18 January 2003, along with the rest of the Sengkang LRT Line East Loop.[1]
