Ruby Yadav is a Politician from Bharatiya Janata Party in India, a social activist, philanthropist and beauty pageant title holder beauty queen Mrs Universe 2015 West Asia .

Beauty pageants

Yadav was "Mrs. India Queen" in December 2013.[1][2] She won the 'Mrs. Universe 2015 West Asia' title in Universal beauty pageant 'Mrs Universe 2015' held in Minsk Belarus on 29 August 2015 by Mrs Universe Ltd.[3]

Activism

Prior to entering politics , Yadav was a social activist in Delhi.[3][4]

Political career

Yadav contested the 2014 parliamentary elections in South Delhi as an independent candidate,[5] placing fourth with 5% of the vote.[6][7] She later joined the BJP on 24 June 2014. She is an executive committee member of BJP Delhi State.[5] President at Cultural Cell BJP Delhi State.

Personal life

She was born in a jat family on May 14, 1980 in muzaffarnagar, and her native place is Karnawal, a town in Meerut district, Uttar Pradesh, India. Yadav's initial schooling was at Muzaffarnagar. She then received her master's degree in Organic Chemistry from Chaudhary Charan Singh University (then Meerut University).[3] In 2004, she got married in Jan 2004 with Mr. Vinay Yadav, a businessman from Rajokri, New Delhi.[1]

Awards

  • Yadav received an award for world peace, the International Peace Award 2015 " by " International Human Rights and Peace Unison " in Chennai.[8]
  • She was honoured in 2nd CMSB National Awards 2014 for " The Best Social Worker of the year 2014 " from "Council for Media and Satellite Broadcasting Awards " For immense contribution to the society and dedicating herself as social worker to the nation.[3]
  • Yadav received an award " Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Award 2015 " for the Best Social Activist of the year 2015 .[3]
  • She has been honoured with the award " Bhartiya Mahila Gaurav Award 2015" for outstanding individual achievements & Distinguished Services to the Nation by " Beti Bachao Abhiyan ".[3]
