Rubab bint Imra al-Qais

Rubāb bint Imra’ al-Qays (Arabic: ربـاب بـنـت إمـرئ الـقـيـس), or Umm Rubāb (Arabic: أم ربـاب) was a wife of Al-Husayn ibn ‘Alī, and the mother of ‘Alī al-Asghar (also known as ‘Abdullāh) and Ruqayyah. Her father was Imra’ al-Qays ibn ‘Adī bin Aws (Arabic: إمـرئ الـقـيـس ابـن عـدي بـن أوس).[1]
