Rolando Gutierrez Andaya, Jr. (born March 10, 1969) is Filipino congressman representing the 1st District of Camarines Sur and former Secretary of Department of Budget and Management. He is the current Majority Floor Leader of the House of Representatives of the Philippines.
Early life
Born Rolando "Nonoy" Gutierrez Andaya, Jr. on March 10, 1969, in Manila. He is the son of former Congressman Rolando Andaya, Sr.
Education
In 1991, he graduated with a degree in Business and Economics, major in Legal Management from De La Salle University in Manila, and in 1995 graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree from Ateneo de Manila University.
Political career
Rolando Andaya, Jr. was the Representative of the 1st District of Camarines Sur during the 11th Congress in 1998 to 2001, 12th Congress in 2001 to 2004, and 13th Congress from 2004 to the 2007. However, on February 5, 2006, he was appointed Budget and Management Secretary. On June 30, 2010 he was sworn-in as the Representative of the 1st District of Camarines Sur during the 15th Congress in 2010 to 2013.
Personal life
Rolando Andaya Jr. is married to Marissa Lirio Mercado with two children: Rolando Andaya IV and Katrina Andaya. He is the older brother of Maribel Andaya-Eusebio, the wife of the current Mayor of Pasig, Robert "Bobby" Eusebio; Maribel also served as the mayor from 2013 to 2016.
