Robert Wharton (priest)

Robert Wharton (b Durham 14 June 1751 - d Nettleham 19 January 1808)^[1] was Archdeacon of Stow from 1862 until his death.^[2]

Wharton was educated at Eton and Pembroke College, Cambridge.^[3] He held the living at Sigglesthorne. He was Chancellor of the Diocese of Lincoln from 1801 until his death.
