Redcross (Irish: An Chrois Dhearg, formerly Baile Domhnaill Rua) is a village and also a civil parish in County Wicklow, Ireland. It lies on the R754 regional road, about 3 km (1.9 mi) east of the N11 national primary route.

Notable visitors

The philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein stayed at a farmhouse in Redcross in 1948, where he began his manuscript volume MS 137, Band R, before moving to a holiday cottage in Connemara.[3]
