Ramidi is a village in Kapurthala district of Punjab State, India. It is located 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) from Kapurthala, which is both district and sub-district headquarters of Ramidi. The village is administrated by a Sarpanch who is an elected representative of village as per the constitution of India and Panchayati raj (India). It is the biggest village in surrounding area. It has various facilities such as Bank,Government High School, proper build up roads, street lights, government water tank,various dairies,General grocery stores, Dispensary, Famous Gurdwara(Sikh temple) SANT SAR SAHIB.Some Kabaddi players are born here Sawaran Singh Bal, Kindu Bal, Johal Bal.
