Raghav Sood[1] (born April 16, 1997) is an Indian author and programmer. He is noted for his work in Augmented Reality and on the Android platform.
Raghav has been programming since the age of 9, and has worked with multiple technologies and in various fields like web development, desktop software, mobile apps and wearable technology.[2][3] [4]
Sood authored Pro Android Augmented Reality[5] ( ISBN 9781430239451), which was published by Apress in July 2012. The book was listed in the top #100 books on Amazon in the Game Programming and Handheld and Mobile Devices categories for close to 2 weeks after publication.
He is the youngest Android author in the world.[6]
On April 9, 2014, Sood published an article detailing various privacy concerns and irregularities in the election system of India.[7] The article detailed scripts necessary to retrieve and analyse electoral rolls for the election, and how several of the Voter IDs issued did not match the government format.
Sood stays in New Delhi along with his parents and older brother. He attended The Shri Ram School Moulsari as a Grade 12 student.
Raghav was an undergraduate student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill majoring in Computer Science.
Throughout mid 2017-early 2018, Raghav has been residing in Singapore while working on several blockchain projects.
Raghav is currently in New Zealand, pursuing his degree.
