He attended Modern School, Barakhamba Road for the entirety of his education till Grade 12 and later on attended the University of Delhi for his Bachelors of Commerce Degree. [5]

Professional career

As a Chartered Accountant, he specialised in International Tax Advisory and Transfer Pricing. Meanwhile, as the India Against Corruption movement started growing, a sense of responsibility motivated Raghav to join the movement. Soon his responsibilities in the movement grew and he resigned from his high paying job to become a part of the Aam Aadmi Party at the time of its inception in November 2012. He was an integral part of the drafting committee and helped prepare policy papers and to establish the party's standpoint on various matters of national importance. He was also instrumental in the drafting of the Election Manifesto for the party in the 2013 Delhi elections.

He played a vital role in the communications, campaigning and outreach team of the party and began appearing on news channels as an official spokesperson of the party. He was appointed as the National Treasurer of the party. He is tasked with the responsibility of overlooking crucial litigation matters of the party and party leaders.

He was signed on as an advisor to Deputy Chief Minister, Manish Sisodia to assist him in the preparation for 2016 budget at an honorarium remuneration of Re.1 per month. He worked in the capacity of a financial advisor. His appointment was retrospectively terminated by Union Minister of Home Affairs in April, 2018.[6] [7] [8] Raghav made headlines by issuing a Demand Draft for 2.5 Rs. to the Union Ministry of Home Affairs as a refund of his salary for two and a half months.[9] [10]

He was unanimously voted into the party’s National Executive Committee. He has now been appointed as the incharge for South Delhi Lok Sabha constituency for the upcoming general elections in 2019. [11]
