Raaj-The Showman is a 2009 Kannada language film starring Puneeth Rajkumar and Priyanka Kothari. Priyanka made her debut in the Kannada films. The film was directed by Prem, whom also directed another movie called Jogi. Pavan Ranadheera was the Associate Director and helped pen the script, screenplay and dialogues.
The movie unfortunately received numerous negative ratings and was a disaster at the box office.

Production
The film is considered to be a high budget film in the Kannada language film industry. It had a wide release in the Karnataka and overseas. Fans began purchasing tickets of Raaj the Showman five days before the day of release at the respective theatre counters. [1]
Release & reception
It was the first Kannada spoken movie to be released worldwide at the same time. It received mixed reviews upon release. Indiaglitz gave it a score of 8/10.[2]
