Quwo County (Chinese: 曲沃县; pinyin: Qǔwò Xiàn) is a county in the south of Shanxi province, China. It is under the administration of Linfen city. The town of Quwo is in the Fen River valley about 30 miles south of Linfen and about 10 miles east of the point where the Fen River turns west. From 745 to 677 BC Quwo was a state that broke off from the State of Jin.
