Psi8 Aurigae (ψ8 Aur, ψ8 Aurigae) is the Bayer designation for a star in the northern constellation of Auriga. It has a apparent visual magnitude of 6.443[2] and, based upon parallax measurements, they are approximately 750 light-years (230 parsecs) distant from the Earth.[1]

The spectrum of the star matches a stellar classification of B9.5p[3]

Nomenclature

Psi8 Aurigae has sometimes been identified with 60 Aurigae however Simbad lists it as 61 Aurigae.[2]
