Pseudolobodillo insulanus is an endemic species of armadillo woodlice, a land crustacean isopods of the family Eubelidae that lives in the island of Príncipe in São Tomé and Príncipe.[1] It is the only species of the genus Pseudobodillo. The genus and the species were described in 1983 by Helmut Schmallfuss and Franco Ferrara.

The genus name is literally meaning the "fake armadillo woodlice of Lobo (wolf)", the first part of the name is from the Greek (pseudo). The species name is Latin form of the name, where it was first founded.
