Przywidz [ˈpʂɨvit͡s] (Kashubian: Przëwidz, German: Mariensee) is a village in Gdańsk County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Przywidz.[1] It lies approximately 22 kilometres (14 mi) west of Pruszcz Gdański and 28 km (17 mi) south-west of the regional capital Gdańsk.

The area was part of Prussia and Germany from 1772-1920, 1920-1939 Free City of Danzig, 1939 - 1945 Nazi Germany. Following World War II the native German populace was expelled and replaced by Poles. For details of the history of the region, see History of Pomerania.
