Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) (Bengali: বাংলাদেশ ইউনিভার্সিটি অব প্রফেশনালস্) a public university established in Bangladesh in 2008. BUP is a public university run by the armed forces with upholding the motto "EXCELLENCE THROUGH KNOWLEDGE".[1]
History
Bangladesh University of Professionals was established in 5 June 2008 by Bangladesh Armed Forces in Mirpur Cantonment as the 29th public university of Bangladesh. It was inaugurated by the chief of Bangladesh Army Staff General Moeen U Ahmed.[2]
