Pristin V (Hangul: 프리스틴 V) is a subgroup of the South Korean girl group Pristin, formed by Pledis Entertainment in 2018. It is composed of five Pristin members: Nayoung, Roa, Eunwoo, Rena, and Kyulkyung.

History

2018: Debut with Like a V

On May 17, Pledis Entertainment released a teaser confirming that Pristin would be debuting its first sub-unit.[1] Members were revealed through teasers titled "Find out the V", an off-line event where "mysterious materials such as puzzle pieces with 'V' marks on it for 5 times along with the date and characters" were posted. Each puzzle piece then led fans to five different subway stations: Ga-yang station, Sindorim station, Suwon station, Gangnam station, and Konkuk University station, where a member of the unit would then be revealed.[2][3] Soon after both individual and group teasers began to be released, along with the title of their debut single album Like a V.[4] On May 28, their first single album was released, along with the music video of the leading track in the album, "Get It".
