Prasad V. Potluri Siddhartha Institute of Technology or PVPSIT is an Autonomous institution in Vijayawada.[1] It has permanent affiliation to JNTUK, Kakinada.[2] It is approved by AICTE, certified by ISO 9001 - 2008 [3]

Background

Named after the serial entrepreneur, philanthropist and educationalist Prasad V. Potluri, the College was founded in 1998. Dr. K. Sivaji Babu is the Principal of the PVPSIT.

Location

The institution is located on the outskirts of Vijayawada city at a distance of about 6 km from the city centre, on the Vijayawada-Machilipatnam Highway (NH 9).

Campus

The College has about 4000 students, more than 250 faculty and around 200 technical and supporting staff. Extracurricular opportunities include NCC, NSS, National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning NPTEL, social clubs and sports & games.[4]
