Prakruti Mishra is an Indian actress known for her work in Odia film and Hindi television. She began her career as a child artist in the Film Sabata maa .She received National Film Award as Special Mention Jury Award Best Actress for movie Hello Arsi in the year 2018.[1] Currently seen as the lead in &TV new show " BITTI business Wali" .She is playing as Bitti in the serial.
Early life and background
Prakruti is the second child of Odia music director Manmath Mishra and News reader Krushnapriya Mishra. She completed her schooling at Venkateswar English Medium School, Bhubaneswar in 2011, followed by studying Commerce at Rama Devi Women's College, Bhubaneswar. Now, she is studying B.A. at Bhavan's College, West Mumbai. She has also learnt Odissi dance from Guru Gangadhar Pradhan.[2]
Career
She made her debut as a child actor at the age of five with the movie Sabata maa . She rose to popularity after she appeared in Odia serial Tulasi in ETV Odia as a character named 'Smruti'. In 2006. Prakruti won an Odisha State Film Award as best child actor for the movie Sashughara Chalijibi.
Prakruti made her debut in Ollywood as a lead actress with the movie Thukool alongside Babushan Then she did more than 10 feature film and became really popular ,[3][2]
In 2014, she participated in the reality show India's Best Cinestars Ki Khoj telecasted on Zee TV and was among top 6 .
Currently, she is seen as the female lead character in Bitti business wali which is being telecasted on &tv.[4].
