Poso Kota is a subdistrict in Indonesia. It is located in the Poso Regency of Central Sulawesi. Along with the neighboring subdistricts of North and South Poso Kota, this subdistrict make up the capital region of Poso Regency, Poso.

With the population of 22815 inhabitants, and the population density of 1782 km/², Poso Kota is the most densely and populous subdistrict in Poso Regency.[2][3] With an area of only 12.8 km/², Poso Kota is the smallest subdistrict, with a percentage of 0.15% of the total area of Poso.[4]

As of 2017, Poso Kota subdistrict consists of 7 administrative villages,[5][6] namely:
