Portaferry Lake is located by East Pitcairn, New York. Fish species present in the lake are atlantic salmon, smallmouth bass, yellow perch, rainbow trout, white sucker, and black bullhead. There is a state owned carry down launch on Route 3, 9 miles northeast of Harrisville. Access is closed from June to August for the Boy Scout camp.[2] The lake is found at an elevation of 860 feet (260 m).[3]
