Pinkalicious & Peterrific is an American-British educational animated children's television series based on the Pinkalicious books by Victoria Kann and Elizabeth Kann. The program premiered on PBS Kids on February 19, 2018.[1] Designed to encourage preschool-age children to explore the arts and develop their creativity, the series follows Pinkalicious and her brother Peter as they imagine how the world looks through her artful eye. Each episode will include two 11 minute stories and live action. WGBH is working with Sixteen South to produce 38 episodes in 2018.[2][3]

Voice cast

  • Kayla Erickson[4] as Pinkalicious Pinkerton. She is an imaginative young girl who loves the color pink more than any other color, as well as soccer, painting, tinkering, and using her creativity. She is the show's main character.
  • Jaden Waldman as Peter Pinkerton,[5] Pinkalicious' younger brother.[4] He likes riding his scooter, playing with blocks, and tagging along on Pinkalicious' adventures. He has some angst over being the youngest, as evidenced in "No Honking" in his song, "Music to Me".
  • Molly Lloyd as Mrs. Pinkerton (Mom). She likes to invent.
  • Jayce Bartok as Mr. Pinkerton (Dad).[6][7] He likes to give advice to Pinkalicious and Peter.
  • Justice Quirez as Rafael,[7] Pinkalicious and Peter's friend.[8] His mother is Mayor Martinez.[9] He has a dog named Rusty, and a younger sister who is the same age as Peter. He likes to paint. Even though he and Pinkalicious don't always agree, they're still friends. He has a crush on Pinkalicious as evidenced in "Glitterizer".
  • Echo Picone as Kendra,[7] Pinkalicious and Peter's friend.[4] She has straight shoulder-length black hair and wears dark clothing. She often makes sarcastic comments towards others, but usually comes through in the end and goes along with Pinkalicious' ideas.
  • Daia Johnson as Jasmine,[7] Pinkalicious and Peter's friend.[8] She has curly black hair in bunches held by yellow ribbons. She likes the color yellow, as well as playing the recorder.
  • Raleigh Shuck as Lila,[7] Pinkalicious and Peter's friend.[8] She has brown hair braided in twintails, dresses in purple, and plays soccer. She is a member of Pinkalicious' clique, but isn't seen hanging out with them often due to her shy nature. She is sensitive, as shown in "Slumber Party", where she misses her mom at the eponymous party, and in "Peter's Blues", where she gets discouraged after Peter sings about her missing the net in soccer.
  • Rebecca Soler as Mayor Martinez, the mayor of Pinkville and Rafael's mom. She is a drama queen, crying over a broken pencil in "Peter's Blues".
  • Blanca Camacho as Mrs. Plum and Ezra Knight as Mr. Plum, they have a poodle named Pinky who Pinkalicious puppy-sat, and Pinkalicious has encountered them on the sidewalk in multiple episodes.
  • Gertie is a pink dragon and Goldie is a unicorn.[10]
  • Erin Fritch as Ms. Penny.[11]
