Pimple Gurav is a residential area in the metropolitan city of Pune in the Indian state of Maharashtra.
History
In the 2000s, Pimple Gurav was a village with fields surrounding it. In the past few years, it has undergone development. Housing societies have been built. Pimple Gurav has many ongoing residential and commercial projects.
Religion
Pimple Gurav is known for its Kerala Guruvayur "Sri Krishna" temple. Devotees regularly visit this temple and chant vedas. The Rajmata Jijau Garden (also called Dinosaur Park) features a 40 feet tall statue of a dinosaur. The garden is one of the most popular attractions in the Pimpri-Chinchwad area.
Transport
The newly developed, six-lane Nashik Phata-to-Wakad bypass goes through Pimple Gurav, providing connectivity to Pimple Gurav and surrounding areas.[1] The bypass offers residents connectivity to nearby areas and Software Technology Parks in Hinjawadi. In addition, Old Mumbai-Pune Highway provides connectivity to Talwade IT Park, and EON IT Park and Magarpatta City IT Park can be reached via Khadki to Yerwada.
A PMPML bus stand is near the old village, where buses carry passengers to Hadapsar, Katraj, Deccan, Market Yard, Dapodi, Pune Station, Kothrud, Pune Corporation, Akurdi Railway Station, Warje Malwadi, Appa Balwant Chowk and other destinations in Pune.
Geography
It is located in the northwest part of the city. Pimple Gurav is surrounded by Pimple Saudagar and Dapodi to the west, Sangavi to the south and Kasarwadi to the north. The Pawana River is located to the west. Its location offers views of the surrounding area. Some of the nearby areas are Pimple Nilakh, Aundh, Pimpri, Wakad, Hinjawadi, Kalewadi, Kasarwadi, Rahatni.
