Phil Lipof (born June 18, 1973) is an American anchorman at WBTS-LD,[1][2] since its switch to NBC on January 1, 2017.[3]
Career
Immediately prior to working at WBTS-LD, he worked at NECN, having left WCVB,[4] where he'd worked since December 2013. He came to Boston from WABC 7 in New York City, where he had been the morning news anchor on the weekends.[5]
Personal life
Lipof was born to a Jewish family[6] and is a native of Newton, Massachusetts,[7] Lipof is married to former WHDH anchor Juli Auclair.[8] He graduated from Syracuse University in 1995 with majors in speech communication and writing.[9]
