Paws, Inc. (also known as Paws Incorporated) is an American comic studio and production company. It was founded by American cartoonist Jim Davis to support the Garfield series, comic strips and its licensing. It is located in Muncie, Indiana and has a staff of nearly 50 artists and licensing administrators. The current building was estabilished in nearby Albany in 1989, relocated from Davis's own farm.[1] In 1994, the company purchased all rights to the Garfield comic strips from 1978-1993 from United Feature Syndicate.
