Paul Guenther (born November 22, 1971) is an American football coach who is the defensive coordinator of the Oakland Raiders of the National Football League (NFL). He joined the Raiders under new head coach Jon Gruden for the 2018 season after his contract with the Bengals expired. He had been the defensive coordinator of the Cincinnati Bengals since January 15, 2014 after Mike Zimmer left to become head coach of the Minnesota Vikings.[1] He was previously the linebackers coach of the Bengals and had been a coach at other positions with the team since 2005. He was the head coach of Ursinus College from 1997 to 2000.[2]
