Pashupati Kumar Paras

Pashupati Kumar Paras is a politician from the state of Bihar currently serving as the Minister for Animal and Fish Resources in the Government of Bihar. He is the younger brother of Union Minister for Food, Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution Ram Vilas Paswan and also the State President of Lok Janshakti Party.

He has been a member of Bihar Legislative Assembly from Alauli since 1977, having lost the last election in 2015. At the time of his appointment as a Minister, he was neither a member of Assembly nor Council and was therefore later accommodated as an MLC from the Governor's quota.[1][2][3]
