Paradise, Nova Scotia
Paradise is a community in the Canadian province of Nova Scotia, located in Annapolis County on Nova Scotia Route 1.[1] The original French name, dating to 1684, was Paradis Terrestre, or Earthly Paradise.[2]
Climate
This climatic region is typified by large seasonal temperature differences, with warm to hot (and often humid) summers and cold (sometimes severely cold) winters. According to the Köppen Climate Classification system, Paradise has a humid continental climate, abbreviated "Dfb" on climate maps.[3]

- Thomas Freeman Porter, poet, eventually Massachusetts State Senator and mayor of Lynn, Massachusetts.
- Otto Strasser (1897–1974) — German Nazi Party dissident, resident during 1940s and 1950s.
