Paila Pacheesu is a 1989 Telugu comedy film, produced by Ramoji Rao under the Ushakiran Movies banner and directed by Mouli. It stars Rajendra Prasad and Ramya Krishna in the lead roles, with music composed by Narendranath.[1] The film was recorded as a flop at the box office.[2]
Plot
The film begins on a college backdrop where 4 students, Saranya (Ramya Krishna), Ashok (Ashok), Ranga (Master Chakri) and Padma (Disco Shanthi) make too much nuisance. Suresh (Rajendra Prasad), a newly appointed lecturer always gives a tough fight to this gang. To get rid of him, they keep a false allegation against Suresh that he has made a rape attempt on Saranya and get him terminated from the college. After that, Saranya goes for her sister Shanti's (Rajyalakshmi) marriage along with her gang, shockingly, she finds that her father Anand Rao (Raavi Kondala Rao) is dead. When Saranya inquires for the reason, she comes to know that Shanti loved a multi-millionaire Chakravarthy's (Giri Babu) son Raja (Sudhakar). In the beginning, Chakravarthy happily accepted the alliance, but during the time of the wedding, he had cheated by making the bride faint and the doctor lies that she is pregnant. Hearing this, Anand Rao committed suicide. Now Saranya decides to make Raja's marriage with Shanti at any cost, She and her gang make a plan, but it fails and they were caught by Police. Police start torturing them, where Suresh comes to their protection and gives them a pardon. Suresh and Saranya start loving each other. Simultaneously, Suresh narrates Chakravarthy's past that the property which he is enjoying is his sister Anasuyamma's (Prameela). Chakravarthy has killed her husband, daughter Rani and also Suresh's father Satya Murthy (again Rajendra Prasad), who used to work as their car driver in their house. But Anasuyamma is still under the impression that her daughter is alive and waiting for her. Now Suresh makes a plan, everyone dramatizes themselves in a disguised form and enters the Anasuyamma's house by introducing Saranya as Rani. The rest of the story has all of them teasing Chakravarthy and teaching him a lesson.
