PRA Health Sciences is a contract research organization (CRO) with headquarters in Raleigh, North Carolina that was founded in 1982.[2] In 2013 the company was acquired by Kohlberg Kravis Roberts, which brought the company public in November 2014 while maintaining control of it.[1]
In August 2017 the company acquired Conshohocken-based health and analytics company Symphony Health for USD $530 million.[3] The company's 2017 revenue was just under USD $2 billion.[1]
